The three of us (Kate, Fred and I) took a trip up North to visit family and friends - which is why I temporarily and unintentionally fell off the face of the earth for about a week. I had intended to blog away about all the amazing things I was doing whilst visiting, only to discover that finding an internet connection was quite a bit more difficult than anticipated.
On my last day I finally remembered to take pictures - and manage to get this particularly creepy one. I was trying to get a photo of a photo of the Cliff House, and was pretty bummed that I couldn't avoid the reflections, etc, but in the end, this wonderfully odd image appeared.
Quite in keeping with my all-creepy-blog-posts-for-October theme, so I manipulated it a bit and came up with this -
Strangely enough, I get more creeped out by the first image than the second one. Maybe because the first is less self-consciously "creepy."
Right now I only have a bare-bones, watered-down version of something that came with my scanner. It's fun to experiment, but I'm not sure just how interested I will become in digital art. I may or may not end up springing for something that allows for more possibilities. Anyone have any recommendations?
